Reading on Public Transportation

I rarely get to see the beautiful sight of people reading while on public transportation because I live in the suburbs and I drive my own car everywhere I go. But this weekend was a great chance to explore, as I went with my friends and husband to NYC to visit the Guggenheim Museum.

Everywhere I turned on the train, I saw people in books in their hands!

Now, I don’t mean Kindles or reading apps on their phones, although I’m sure a few of those people with screens in their faces might have been reading but the pure joy of seeing people with paper in their hands was GLORIOUS!

Since we were chatting, planning our next moves for the day and just really trying not to miss our stop; I wasn’t able to take any photos of this wonderful reading beings but I thought it would be great to share some photos from an Instagram page I follow entitled Hot Dudes Reading.
